Damla Öztürk Önder, an experienced executive from Hilton, has been appointed as the Commercial Director of Ankara HiltonSA.

Ankara HiltonSA, the capital's first international five-star hotel, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Damla Öztürk Önder, an experienced executive from Hilton, as Commercial Director. This appointment is a strong reflection of Hilton's culture of developing internal leaders and its commitment to the development of women leaders.

With over 25 years of experience in the tourism sector and over 21 years within Hilton, Damla Öztürk Önder will lead the sales, marketing, revenue management, digital commerce, and commercial strategy teams at Ankara HiltonSA in her new role. Önder will contribute to the hotel's sustainable growth objectives with her data-driven business approach, strong team management skills, and strategic perspective.

Throughout his Hilton career, Önder has demonstrated a successful development trajectory, progressing from operational roles to commercial leadership, most recently serving as Sales Director at the Adana and Mersin Hilton Cluster hotels. Leveraging his experience in diverse markets, Önder led strategies to improve sales performance, achieving significant success in revenue optimization, market development, brand positioning, and long-term business partnerships.

Throughout his career, Önder has contributed to destination marketing through strong collaborations with public institutions, large corporations, chambers of commerce, NGOs, and tourism stakeholders, and is also known for his leadership style that prioritizes team development.

Önder, who plays an active role in Hilton's global Women in Leadership program, has been involved in training and development initiatives supporting women professionals on their leadership journeys. In addition, she continues to contribute to the development of future leaders by mentoring young professionals working in Türkiye and other countries as part of the Hilton EMEA Mentoring Program.
