Six Senses KaplankayaIt continues to resolutely pursue its work focused on social benefit.
Six Senses Kaplankaya organizes trainings in collaboration with Didim Autism and Gifted Children Association, a local non-governmental organization. World Autism Awareness Day, celebrated every year on April 2nd, aims to raise public awareness about autism spectrum disorder, highlight the importance of early diagnosis, and support the equal participation of individuals with autism in all areas of life. This special day, declared by the United Nations, reminds us of the importance of building an inclusive society and points to a collective responsibility focused on education, empathy, and awareness.
Six Senses Kaplankaya implements this approach through sustainable social impact projects. As part of its work in 2024, it renovated a special education classroom in a primary school in Akbük, providing essential materials; organized awareness training for families and students; and conducted workshops addressing peer bullying and social adjustment issues for children with neurodiverse needs. In total, this initiative reached 195 people throughout 2024.
In 2026, the project expands its reach by targeting 57 middle school students at Kazıklı School. The project aims to become sustainable by focusing on 5th graders in the region each year and expanding to surrounding schools.
Awareness-raising efforts are not limited to education; active interaction with students is established, particularly during visits on special days such as World Autism Awareness Day, and support is offered to meet their evolving needs. At the same time, guests at the hotel are encouraged to wear red ribbons on these special days to raise public awareness.
Six Senses Kaplankaya continues to take responsibility for a more inclusive and conscious future by expanding its understanding of well-being not only through individual experiences but also through projects that impact society.
