-Low yield and quality
-Import pressure
-Trends of withdrawal from the sector
In his speech, Ömer Ergüder stated the following regarding Vision 2026:
“Vision 2026 is not a presentation of optimism that ignores these risks. On the contrary, it is a roadmap that is neither overly optimistic nor pessimistic, but grounded in facts and with realistic goals. Our priority is to ensure that our producers remain in their fields and to create a structure that does not leave them alone.”
During the meeting, it was pointed out that the producer's departure from the sector would render all other issues meaningless, and it was emphasized that the association's primary goal is "to ensure that the producer stays in the orchard."
Strengthening Gardens: Science-Based Production
