SunExpress will begin direct flights from Cologne to Adana/Çukurova, Elazığ and Trabzon, and will also increase flight frequency on the Antalya, Kayseri and Samsun routes. The airline will operate more than 70 direct flights per week between Cologne and Türkiye during the summer season.
Flights from Cologne to Adana/Çukurova will begin on Sundays from March 29th, and will be increased to twice a week on Wednesdays starting May 13th. The airline will also operate direct flights from Cologne to Elazığ once a week on Thursdays from April 2nd. From March 30th, flights from Cologne to Trabzon will be offered once a week, and twice a week starting May 22nd.
SunExpress is increasing frequencies on its existing routes from Cologne during the summer season. Flights to Samsun will be increased to two per week, operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting June 24th, while flights to Kayseri will be increased to three per week, starting June 25th. With these newly added routes and increased flight numbers, the airline is strengthening direct connections between Turkey and Germany, particularly for passengers living in Germany who frequently visit family and relatives in Türkiye.
As part of its summer flight schedule, SunExpress is increasing capacity on the Cologne-Antalya route with up to 7 flights per day, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 49. Morning departures from Cologne and daily return flights from Antalya offer passengers more flexible travel options. With this increased capacity, the airline aims to contribute to the tourism activity in Antalya, a popular holiday destination in Türkiye, during the summer season. Meanwhile, the airline continues to operate flights from Cologne to Izmir 14 times a week, to Dalaman 3 times a week, and to Ankara 2 times a week.
