Onur Barım has become the new CEO of Lactalis Türkiye.

In the milk and dairy products market İçim, President, Masterini Onur Barım has been appointed as the new CEO of Lactalis Türkiye, which reaches consumers with its Ice Break brands. Barım, who started his duties on February 1, 2026, previously served as the CEO of Lactalis Romania, which is part of the Lactalis group, a leading company in the global dairy industry.

Onur Barım, a graduate of Istanbul University's Department of Economics, began his career at Perfetti Van Melle. He subsequently held various management positions in marketing at Turkcell and Ülker. Following the transfer of Ülker's dairy and dairy production and distribution operations to Lactalis, he continued in his role as Marketing Director at Lactalis Turkey, a position he held for nine years at Ülker. In 2018, Barım embarked on his international career as CEO of Lactalis Saudi Arabia. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Lactalis Turkey, he served as CEO of Lactalis Romania from 2022.

Ali Sözen, who has served as CEO of Lactalis Türkiye for 13 years, will continue to work alongside Onur Barım until the end of February 2026. Sözen managed the company's integration into Group Lactalis in 2015 and subsequently led its industrial, digital, and cultural transformation with a visionary approach, achieving numerous critical successes. During his tenure, Sözen transformed Lactalis Türkiye into a dynamic and innovative company, and his strategic approach enabled the organization to evolve into a consumer-focused structure with a strong emphasis on branded products. Thanks to this strategic leadership, Ali Sözen spearheaded the brand's consistent market share gains year after year, achieving a strong position in the sector and driving the company's growth.
