The cruise industry is no longer just about operating ships. It requires safe operations, a qualified workforce, and ecosystem management that complies with international standards.” He drew attention to the transformation of the sector by saying this.

However, for this to be sustainable, we need to speak a common language as a sector and focus on the same goals.”

Çavuşoğlu stated that accurately reflecting technical competence in the field, taking real operational experience into account in decision-making processes, and establishing transparent communication with stakeholders are among the most needed characteristics of the sector today, and that Türkiye's positioning as a 'reliable operational partner' is possible with this understanding.

Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the sector should grow through common sense and cooperation, “The momentum gained in 2025 is no coincidence. We believe that with proper planning, operational discipline, and transparent management, this momentum will be even stronger in 2026.” Çavuşoğlu also shared his expectations for the year 2026, saying: “Our main goals include increasing the visibility of Turkish seafarers in the cruise industry, enabling local technical personnel to take on more responsibility in international projects, and making Türkiye a trusted center on a global scale.”.” said.
