Senior Appointment at UNO
Gülşah Ecir Tarlacı has been appointed as Acting CEO and Member of the Board of Directors.
Türkiye's first and leading packaged bread brand. UNGülşah Ecir Tarlacı has been appointed as the Deputy CEO and Member of the Board of Directors at [Company Name]. In her new role, Tarlacı will be responsible for the strategic management of the company's corporate governance, human resources, compliance and regulatory processes, ethics, internal audit, and legal areas.
Gülşah Tarlacı began her career in law, specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, competition law, contracts, employment law, intellectual property, compliance management, and internal control systems. Throughout her career, she has held significant responsibilities in various sectors.
Following her joining UNO, she managed the company's legal, compliance, and internal audit processes for many years, holding roles with increasing levels of responsibility such as Legal Manager, Trademark Representative, and Legal Director. During her tenure as Legal Director, she established UNO's corporate governance and ethics infrastructure, defined and developed internal audit and internal control standards, led human resources transformation, set company-wide compliance standards, and successfully managed critical building blocks of the organization. Following these contributions, she was appointed Acting CEO and Board Member. Tarlacı also chairs the Compliance, Ethics, Internal Audit, and Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Committees within UNO. She currently plays an active role in strengthening corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
In his current role, Tarlacı aims to further strengthen UNO's corporate governance approach, advance ethical, compliance, and internal audit standards, and increase organizational efficiency and sustainable growth.
Gülşah Tarlacı completed her undergraduate studies at Marmara University and also earned a master's degree in Private Law from Bahçeşehir University. Tarlacı is fluent in English at a professional level.
