Paloma Hotels The evening, hosted by Ece Tonbul, Chairwoman and CEO, was also attended by many senior executives from TUI Belgium and the Netherlands, along with successful agencies. The evening, themed "Cheers to Summer 2026," was hosted by Kobe Ilsen, one of Belgium's most recognizable television personalities, and featured the opening remarks from Ece Tonbul.

Tonbul, who served as Belgian Honorary Consul for many years, emphasized the strategic importance of the Belgian market and the deep-rooted collaboration built on mutual trust and growth. In his speech, he said: “For us, the Diamond Awards are much more than just an awards ceremony; they are a celebration of the trust, loyalty, and friendship we have built together over the years. The bond we have established with the Belgian market holds a very special place in Paloma's story, and we are delighted to strengthen this bond every year.”

Addressing the guests following Ece Tonbul, TUI Belgium & Netherlands General Manager Arjan Kers emphasized the strong and long-standing partnership between TUI and Paloma Hotels Group and highlighted the impressive performance of the 2025 season.

Belgium – Paloma Hotels Group Success in Numbers 

The data shared at the event once again demonstrated the group's strong position in the Belgian market:

  • The Paloma Diamond Awards have been held 14 times since 2012.
  • To date, more than 75 Diamond awards have been presented.

Overview of 2025

The year 2025 was filled with innovation and growth for Paloma Hotel Group.
Approximately 210.000 guests were hosted across the group; the youngest guest was a two-week-old baby and the oldest was 97. With visitors from 88 different countries, the Paloma Hotel Group once again proved its status as a global meeting point.

One of the most notable milestones of the year was the reopening of Paloma Grida following an extensive renovation. The hotel's exciting transformation was celebrated with a special launch film at the event.

Campaign Premieres Made Their Mark on the Night

The event also showcased the creative projects that reflect Paloma Hotels Group's 2025 journey and shape the 2026 season. Paloma Hotels' new advertising campaign, "It's real. It's all in," premiered on the night. This campaign highlights Paloma Hotels' emotional and experiential brand essence and marks the beginning of a fresh and renewed creative direction for the upcoming season.

Guests also had the pleasure of previewing the first film in Club Marvy's new digital campaign, "The Taste of Marvy," featuring Ece Dağıstan and Jamal Aliyev. Each film has been met with critical acclaim, showcasing the group's experience-focused approach and creative vision.

Guests also watched a specially prepared film about the culinary experiences offered at Paloma Finesse in 2025. The film captivatingly conveyed the unique culinary journey of Michelin-starred chefs from around the world at Paloma Finesse, part of the Chef's Kitchen, which has been ongoing since 2019, and the Finesse Gastro Getaway, which was launched for the first time in 2025. The film showcased the culinary galaxy created by 28 chefs, each holding a total of 17 Michelin stars, in Paloma Finesse's kitchen, and the sparkling culinary experiences these stars enjoyed throughout the year.

A Night Full of Gastronomy and Music

Guests were treated to a special menu prepared by chef Benoît Bailly. The carefully selected flavors further enhanced the evening's gastronomic experience. The stage was then given to beloved Belgian artist Yannick Bovy. His energy and impressive performance added a unique dimension to the evening.

The Highlight of the Night: Diamond 2025 Awards Ceremony

At the 2025 Diamond Awards, agencies earning the highest points in Paloma Hotel Group's "Earn & Burn" loyalty program, specifically developed for travel agencies, were recognized in various categories. The most successful agencies were awarded diamonds, while the other finalists won accommodation experiences at Club Marvy, Paloma Finesse, and Paloma Hotels. 

The Paloma Diamond Awards 2025 left its mark on our memories as an unforgettable night celebrating not only achievements but also deepening collaborations, long-standing trust, and the shared story between the Paloma Hotel Group and the Belgian market.

Gizem Kartal Sükan, NestléShe began her career at [Company Name] in 2006 as a Channel and Category Sales Development Specialist. Continuing her role as Category Sales Development Leader for the Chocolate and Confectionery Business Unit in 2017, Kartal played a significant role in the business unit's growth journey as Marketing Leader between 2018 and 2023. During this period, she led the strategies of the Damak brand, strengthening its position; contributing to Nestlé's first-ever market second-place ranking in the Adult Tablet segment and Damak's first-ever market leadership in the pistachio segment; and with the powerful communication campaign she implemented, the Chocolate Business Unit won its first Gold Effie award.

Kartal later assumed the role of Marketing Leader for Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages. Leading Erikli's premium positioning approach and digitalization journey, Kartal played a role in creating the dual model specific to the Turkish market for Erikli & S.Pellegrino, and developed significant collaborations in premium out-of-home consumption. Kartal also developed and implemented Erikli's sustainability strategy, contributing to the brand winning awards such as Best Sustainability Marketing Project and Lovemarks during this period.

In her new role, Kartal will lead the multi-channel sales organization of Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages business unit; she will continue her work to maximize the potential of each channel, translate strategies into strong field results, and prepare the organization for the future.
