Arabica Coffee House Founder and architect Elif Ülger Yalçın said, “We have been thrilled to be walking this path together for 11 years. Since 2014, Arabica has been pursuing a journey that strengthens coffee culture across Türkiye and centers on domestic production. We consider this anniversary not merely a celebration of the past, but also a step that reveals our vision for the future. We are delighted to share this special project, which adds a new dimension to the power of coffee to bring people together.”
We will reach 50 branches in Istanbul by the end of 2026.
Arabica Coffee House CEO, Attorney Sertaç Yalçın, said, “As Arabica Coffee House, we aim to reach 50 branches in Istanbul by the end of 2026. As we expand our network towards this goal, we will continue to move forward without compromising the values that define us. In the coming period, we will continue to approach our operational growth with the principles of social impact and inclusivity. From our baristas to our suppliers, our team, our business partners, and our investors, we are a family that has overcome challenges and grown together. As a 100% domestic and national brand, we have managed to stay on the foundations announced five years ago and will continue on this path, aiming to grow until our IPO in the future. With a culture of giving back, we will establish a foundation and expand upon all the work we are currently doing, implementing all the stages of sustainability. We will continue to grow as a large and strong family.”
Arabica's AI-Powered Mascot Bica Takes the Stage
Yalçın continued, saying, "In our 11th year, we've launched our mascot in line with our new corporate vision. Today, we're introducing BICA. It won't just be a mascot; we'll diversify it with artificial intelligence projects and even children's menus. We're also announcing today that we've invested in two important companies for our investors in the new year. We've become investors in both a cash register software and an artificial intelligence company. All our investors will be able to access real-time statistics at our branches. With our artificial intelligence investment, they'll be able to instantly track the number of people in branches, gender, and all other details. We will continue to operate as an R&D and startup company."
A New Coffee Experience for the Visually Impaired
Emphasizing the importance of the EyeBrand Program, Yalçın said, “This project we're implementing with BlindLook is a significant step forward, not only in enhancing the coffee experience but also in raising social awareness. Coffee is for everyone; it's a bond that brings people together and strengthens sharing. We're delighted to enable our visually impaired guests to feel more independent and free at our branches. As Arabica Coffee House, we will continue this collaboration and undertake further accessibility projects with the mission of providing an equal and inclusive experience for everyone.”
Reinforcing its vision of inclusivity, the brand has joined BlindLook's EyeBrand Program, allowing visually impaired individuals to experience menus and services offered in branches in an audible and interactive way. This system allows visitors to explore the location more easily, freely, and independently.
