New Appointment at Şölen: Ali Kara Becomes Audit Director

FeastIn line with its 2030 growth strategy, Şölen is taking significant steps toward creating a more agile, integrated, and robust organizational structure on a global scale. A new appointment has been made as part of the restructuring process undertaken within this vision. Ali Kara has been appointed Audit Director. With this appointment, Şölen aims to accelerate sustainable growth targets by creating synergy in strategic planning, transformation, and auditing processes.

Ali Kara, a graduate of Middle East Technical University's Department of Political Science and Public Administration, completed the MBA program at Atılım University. Kara began his career as a Senior Team Leader at PwC and joined OYAK Group in 2007, where he worked in internal audit until 2017. He then established Renault MAIS's audit unit, a position he held until 2019. He then served as Internal Audit Director at Evyap Holding in 2019, leading audit processes for five years. Most recently, Kara served as Head of Internal Audit at Çolakoğlu Metalurji. At Şölen, he will be responsible for the holistic execution of audit processes and strengthening the corporate governance structure.
