Azumi Ltd., the internationally renowned restaurant group behind globally acclaimed Zuma, ROKA, Oblix and other prestigious restaurant concepts, has announced a new strategic partnership with DIAFA, a new luxury hospitality investment company based in Abu Dhabi.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for Azumi, bringing together DIAFA and its long-time partner, Doğuş Hospitality, in a shared vision for the group's next phase: a vision defined by creativity, cultural value, and ambitious global growth.
For over two decades, Zuma and ROKA have distinguished themselves in the culinary world with their unique interpretations of modern Japanese cuisine, their clean design approach, and their consistent global quality. With an international restaurant chain stretching from London to Dubai, Miami to the Maldives, and Hong Kong to Istanbul, they offer unique dining experiences that combine originality with innovation, elegance with comfort.
DIAFA’s investment will accelerate Azumi’s ambitions, supporting the development of the brand’s flagship restaurants, the international expansion of existing restaurants like Oblix, and the launch of new lifestyle and experience-focused concepts currently in development.

Following the enormous success of Zuma London, Rainer Becker quickly recognized the huge popularity of robatayaki cuisine and opened ROKA Charlotte Street in 2004, creating a contemporary Japanese menu. ROKA Group has expanded rapidly and now has a portfolio of restaurants in London's most sought-after locations. ROKA's main cuisine comes from the Robata grill. Located in the middle of the grill, the grill forms an integral design element of all restaurants, but more than just a striking feature, the robata is truly the heart of ROKA.
