The first hotel of the Elite World Hotels & Resorts chain Elite World Comfy Istanbul Taksim, has been completely renovated with a design in line with the brand identity to offer its guests a more comfortable and modern accommodation experience. Arketipo Architecture With the project carried out by , all areas of the hotel, from the restaurant and rooms to the lobby and gym, were renovated. With 102 rooms and 206 beds, Elite World Comfy Istanbul Taksim also caters to meeting and congress tourism with four meeting halls with a capacity of 480 people.
A contemporary and timeless architecture…
Arketipo Architecture aimed to create a more contemporary atmosphere while preserving the hotel's deep-rooted identity. Classical lines added character to the space, and the marble flooring that dominates the lobby was determined to be the most important element of the hotel's identity. Therefore, this element was retained and placed at the center of the design. A more contemporary, bright, and timeless atmosphere was built around the center. Lighter-toned wood surfaces, pastel-toned fabrics that add warmth and serenity to the space, and lighting elements that create a contemporary vibe were chosen.
The main identity of the design was home comfort.
The furniture selections strayed from the traditional hotel lobby, creating a comfortable seating experience reminiscent of a home. All rooms, including common areas, were completely renovated to reflect a modern architectural identity. The renovation wasn't limited to visual changes; significant changes were also made to the infrastructure. The heating, cooling, and water treatment systems were updated, improving energy efficiency. The gym was also refitted with world-renowned Technogym equipment, offering guests a modern fitness experience.
At the end of the renovation, which was carried out with a holistic and timeless architectural approach, Elite World Comfy Istanbul Taksim has gained a brand new look that continues its deep-rooted heritage while also welcoming its guests with a much more spacious, inviting and contemporary design language.
