One of the world's first instant noodle brands Indomie, has been continuing its activities in Türkiye since 2010 with a focus on domestic production. Indomie Turkey, which carries out its production processes in its factory located in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, provides 70% of its raw materials from farmers in the Thrace region, while providing quality products and supporting agricultural production, contributing to local development and creating employment. Underlining that behind this success lies not only taste but also a safe and sustainable production approach, Indomie Türkiye, continues to invest in the future with its modern production lines that operate without human touch, meticulously applied quality standards and environmentally friendly technologies. With long-term collaborations established with local suppliers, contributions to the regional economy and sustainable agricultural practices, Indomie Turkey creates a production model that considers not only today's needs but also tomorrow's needs.
''While Improving Today, We Aim to Protect Tomorrow's Resources''
Drawing attention to the importance of the realized wheat harvest in the brand's production approach Indomie Türkiye Factory Manager Onur Özkan said, ''A significant portion of the raw material we use is grown by the labor of our farmers around Thrace. We transform this labor into products in our production lines that operate without human contact, where hygiene standards are applied at the highest level. It is a great pride for us to have the first noodle production line in Türkiye where hands do not come into contact with the product. 70% of our raw materials come from our local suppliers in the Thrace region. With our monthly production capacity of 330 tons, we produce an average of 1 billion 232 million noodles per year. This production volume is also a clear indicator of how integrated we are into Türkiye's consumption habits and how we have become a brand that is safely preferred on tables. Our female employee ratio is over 60%. This ratio reflects our perspective on production as well as our determination for equal opportunities and social sensitivity.
We are among the top 50 among 5 Indomie factories worldwide. We achieve this success with the trust we have in domestic resources. The importance we give to domestic production, sustainable agricultural practices and long-term collaborations with our farmers increases our product quality while also directly contributing to the geography we are located in. In addition, we fulfill our environmental responsibility with our production models aimed at protecting our natural resources. We work for a more sensitive production structure in every area from recycling processes to water and energy efficiency, and aim to protect tomorrow's resources while improving today. As Indomie Turkey, we act with great responsibility, commitment and transparency in every step we take to bring the fertility of the soil to our tables.”
