Senior Appointment in Metro Turkey

A senior appointment was made at Metro Turkey, a retail company that has been serving as a leading business partner in the food and beverage sector in our country since 1990. Sevda Çetinkaya, who serves as HR Group Manager, is the Human Resources and Culture Director of Metro Türkiye. In his new position, Çetinkaya will be responsible for all Human and Culture strategies and processes of Metro Turkey, which serves its customers with nearly 20 employees in 35 stores in 4 cities, and in addition to this duty, he will also take part in the board of directors as a member.

Sevda Çetinkaya, who started her career in 2005 in Human Resources Consulting Services at PwC, worked in various HR management positions at the Eczacıbaşı Group. Sevda Çetinkaya, who joined Metro Turkey in April 2020 as the People and Culture Group Manager, has undertaken responsibilities in many important projects with her devoted work. As of January 1, 2025, Çetinkaya will continue her work as the People and Culture Director of Metro Turkey with the vision of creating a “perfect corporate culture and employee experience.”
