Seyidoğlu Gıda Will Support Children's Education in Cooperation with TEGV

Seyidoğlu Gıda, a 70-year-old producer of traditional flavors, has launched a charity movement to support education. With the protocol signed between the Education Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) and Seyidoğlu Gıda, a portion of the income from the sales of specially packaged halva will be donated to support education.

Within the scope of the education support campaign launched with the slogan “There is Goodness in This Halva!”, 10 thousand 500-gram halvahs were produced in the first stage and the products started to be exhibited in market chains, sales points and all online sales platforms. A portion of the income obtained from the sale of the halvahs will be donated to TEGV and will contribute to the support efforts for qualified education. The TEGV logo and informational QR code will be placed on the halvahs to be sold. The consumer will directly support the donation campaign with the product they purchase. Informing that the campaign will continue for 2025 year until November 1, Seyidoğlu Food General Manager Mehmet Göksu“As a company, we always try to be at the forefront of all aid and support campaigns as much as we can. Our aim with this project is to support our children, who are our future, to receive education under better conditions and to create social awareness. In Turkish culture, halva is not just a dessert. It is also a symbol with deep cultural meanings, distributed in good times and bad times, in our joys and sorrows. This time, we will produce halva, which is an indispensable part of our traditions of cooperation and togetherness, for a good cause to support education. We want to ensure that everyone is included in this campaign by donating a portion of the income of each halva sold to TEGV. We wanted to spread the spirit of cooperation to the whole society and include the consumer in our campaign,” he said.

Expressing that TEGV's activities are of great importance in the field of education, Göksu said, "We would like to thank each and every one of the thousands of volunteers who devoted themselves to education activities. As a company, we also wanted to contribute to the soup. We will be honored to continue this support campaign for many years and to lay a brick in the future of our country, hand in hand with our consumers."

In Hatay Iskenderun, which was deeply affected by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, the spirit of cooperation and solidarity continues to grow on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. In this context, Eksun Gıda, known for its Sinangil brand, a popular brand in the flour market and standing out with its works that add value to society, provided 5 tons of flour support to Gönül Mutfağı to meet the bread needs for lunches distributed to primary school children. Thanks to the shipment that set off from Eksun Gıda's Konya factory, the flour needs of the "Gönül Mutfağı Sets the Tables of the Future" project covering 12 primary schools in Hatay and Iskenderun were met.

Sinangil Support for Gonul Mutfağı

Gönül Mutfağı has been continuing its work, primarily distributing hot meals, with the support of volunteers since February 6, 2024-2025 The project, “The Heart Kitchen Sets the Tables of the Future”, includes the furnishing of dining halls in primary schools and the preparation of lunches for children in the academic year. The project is being implemented with the support and cooperation of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of National Education, Hatay Provincial Directorate of National Education, İskenderun District Directorate of National Education, İskenderun District Governorship.

The Gonul Mutfağı is Setting Up the Tables of the Future project reaches 12 primary schools and 3300 students daily. The support provided by Eksun Gıda through Sinangil Un is used for the daily bread needs of children.
