Jumbo Celebrates Collaboration with MICHELIN Guide

This special event, attended by leading figures from the art and social world, was attended by Winner of the “MICHELIN Young Chef Award” Ulaş Durmaz A special menu prepared by was presented to the guests. Many famous names from the art and high society world such as Ceylan-Şebnem Çapa, Begüm Kütük-Erdil Yaşaroğlu, Arzu Kaprol-Doruk Kaprol, Melis Ağazat and Ardan Özdener attended the night.

The winter menu prepared by Ulaş Durmaz for The Red Balloon received full marks from the guests. Jumbo is taking an important step towards ensuring that Turkish gastronomy receives the value it deserves in the international arena thanks to this collaboration with the MICHELIN Guide. The importance of visual presentation and creative cuisine was emphasized at the event. Gastronomy expert Oğul Türkkan shared valuable information on how meals turn into works of art. Speaking about the impact of visual presentation on the dining experience, Türkkan explained in detail the plating processes that blend aesthetics and technique.

Art and Sea Meet in Kalamış at Art On The Boat

Setur Kalamis Marina, one of the most popular locations in Istanbul, hosted the “Art on the Boat” festival on Saturday, June 14, sponsored by Istirak Sehircilik and Mutlu Makarna. Participants had a very special experience that appealed to the visual, auditory and taste buds at the marina on a sunny summer day.

The motto “There is no knot, there is a connection” inspired by sailing culture stood out in the event organized by Intersis Agency. Special workshops, talks and shows organized in the marina and on boats throughout the festival brought together art, gastronomy and sea enthusiasts.

Special Names Added Color to the Event

The prominent guests of the day included Masterchef Mehmet Yalçınkaya, Bedri Usta, Eren Kaşıkçı from Kızıl Sakal'ın Mutfağı, International Weaving Artist Fırat Neziroğlu, Writer and Musician Aşkım Kapışmak and veteran artist Haldun Dormen. Veteran artist Haldun Dormen watched Mehmet Yalçınkaya's conversation from the front row.

In addition, Haluk Tuğcu, Pınar Tuğba Biçmen, Selin Fenerci, Mahir Kurtalan, Özge Nalbantoğlu were among the artists participating in the festival. Taking the stage at the festival’s finale, the Melis Sökmen – Ceyda Pirali Orchestra offered participants a musical journey from classical jazz to modern tunes with their performance of “The Color of Sound: Sunset.” The concert, which took place accompanied by the sunset, was one of the most fascinating moments of the event.

HORECA TREND Takes the Pulse of the Industry at Hostech by TUSID Fair

Hostech by TUSID, Türkiye's largest and Europe's second largest hotel, restaurant, gastronomy and kitchen equipment fair, will be held between 27-31 May 2025. TUYAP Fair and Congress CenterBrought together industry professionals at. Orbis Media Information and Communication Technologies, which participated in the fair with its HORECA TREND brand, brought together its innovative vision in digital publishing with the participants.

While technologies and solutions that will shape the future of the sector were exhibited at the five-day fair, the HORECA TREND stand was also the center of attention of local and foreign visitors.
