On this special day, Turkey stands out with the records it has broken in cruise tourism, one of the most prestigious areas of tourism. Between January and August 2025, the number of cruise passengers arriving at Turkish ports increased by 18,4 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 1. During the same period, the number of cruise ships calling at ports increased by 416 percent, reaching 398.
