Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, which draws attention with its unique Bosphorus view and superior service quality in the heart of Beşiktaş, will hold its fourth Shang Brunch event on Sunday, November 17. This special brunch will once again leave its mark on the gastronomy world in Istanbul with signature dishes presented by 8 famous chefs from Turkish and world cuisine at their live stations.

Shang Brunch Vol.4 will offer guests a festival-like experience by offering them the opportunity to meet famous chefs one-on-one and try their signature dishes prepared at live stations. From The Red Balloon Young Michelin award-winning Executive Chef Ulaş Durmaz, Telezzuz'Executive Chef Bahtiyar Büyükduman, paper moon Executive Chef Giuseppe Pressani, Beta Home Sapanca's Executive Chef Doğan Anapa, Momo Bebeköy'Uğur Çakıroğlu, the Executive Chef of the Naples Antica'3 Black-Tie Award winner and Famous Italian Cheese Master Cosimo Rotolo will take part in this luxurious gastronomy journey. Led by the hotel's Executive Chef Giovanni Terracciano and Chef Cheng Lu of the award-winning restaurant Shang Palace, signature flavors ranging from Japanese cuisine to Chinese, Turkish cuisine to Italian will make Sunday, November 17 even more colorful and unforgettable.

Throughout the event, live music, a marbling art experience led by Ali and Betül Şengüler from Turkish Arts, special cocktails from Le Bar and fun activities for the little ones will provide participants with a festival-like Sunday experience.

What's on the Chefs' Special Menus on Live Stations?

At Telezzüz's chef's station; potato terrine enriched with olive oil-cooked fennel, red curd, vegan cheddar and blueberry sauce, is completed with fresh truffle and chives. Mushroom ceviche, on the other hand, combines chestnut mushrooms cooked in seaweed with the soft texture of Ajo Blanco sauce and offers a perfect balance by enriching the layers of flavor with refreshing coriander sorbet.

Beta Home Sapanca’s Doğan Chef will be serving delicious flavors from a special tasting menu at his live station: Wild mushrooms sautéed with chestnut mushroom cream, potato terrine, chives and smoked meat; Julienne green apple, grass shrimp, nori and yufka crispy with orange and whiskey celery cream; smoked Circassian cheese mousse (Arc of Taste product), grapefruit, beetroot, roasted hazelnuts and arugula. For dessert, “A Walk in the Forest” chocolate mousse will be served with crispy choux craquelin, homemade vanilla ice cream, chocolate buckwheat crispy, powdered pistachios, strawberries and mint.

Chef Ulaş from The Red Balloon's menu includes special flavors such as octopus with citrus, leek stew, tuna raw meatballs and rice pudding.

Napoli Antica's famous cheese master Cosimo will present Italy's distinguished cheeses, Nodini, Burrata, Treccia di Bufala and Big Ricotta, right before the eyes of the guests.

Chef Giuseppe from Papermoon will be serving delicious dishes on the menu, such as potato gnocchi with tomato sauce, basil and stracciatella cheese, smoked salmon rolls prepared with mozzarella and avocado, eggplant parmiggiana with tomato and cheese, and chocolate profiteroles with pastry cream and chili flakes.

Chef Uğur from Momo Bebeköy will feature different flavors on the menu such as delicacies prepared with celery stalk, Manchego cheese, dates and mint, shaved artichoke and parmesan with yuzu and leek crisps, beef tataki with special Octo sauce, oven-baked beetroot salad and spicy shrimp.

The hotel’s award-winning signature restaurant, Shang Palace Station, will feature unique flavors such as oven-roasted whole Peking duck, barbecue chicken marinated in honey sauce, Chinese noodles in beef bone broth, corn chicken dumplings, and mung bean noodles with vegetable salad.
