Labada, which serves its guests in the region with its innovative and unique patisserie and catering services in addition to its brasserie concept, has signed a collaboration with Pamukkale University, one of the well-established universities of our country, in order to contribute to the development of Turkish cuisine and gastronomy. Labada, which has implemented a practice kitchen in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, affiliated with the Faculty of Tourism, carries its holistic gastronomy approach to the future with a kitchen that includes all the equipment and equipment needed by chef candidates. 

Details about Labada Gourmet Practice Kitchen, which offers students the opportunity to develop their practical skills and explore various culinary cultures, are as follows; The kitchen, which provides a comfortable working environment for students with a large area of ​​110 square meters, has a dishwasher, which is important for cleanliness and order, spread over an area of ​​10 square meters. In the patisserie section of the kitchen, there is also a special area of ​​12 square meters for students who want to work on desserts and patisserie products. This department allows students to showcase their creativity and develop practical skills. The kitchen also has practical access points, such as a back door that leads to the outside and a front door that allows entry from inside the building. These features allow students to access the kitchen area safely and easily.

Among the courses students will take at Labada Gourmet Practice Kitchen; There are various courses such as Basic Culinary Practices, Turkish Cuisine and World Cuisines. While Turkish Cuisine courses include comprehensive training for students on the preparation, presentation and service of traditional Turkish dishes, World Cuisine courses give students the opportunity to discover the cooking techniques and flavors of different cultures. In these courses, which focus on the dishes of various cultures such as Italian, French, Chinese, Indian and Japanese cuisines, students have the opportunity to specialize in international cuisines. A total of 1440 students will have the opportunity to develop their practical skills in Turkish and world cuisines at Labada Gourmet Practice Kitchen, in an area equipped with advanced equipment and the latest technology. Chef candidates representing the future of Turkish cuisine will be ambassadors who will carry Turkish gastronomy forward with a vision that will carry forward the cultural heritage they inherit from their roots, just like Labada.

Serpil Güney has been appointed as the new General Manager of Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, which has hosted countless events for over 10 years and welcomed thousands of guests with world-renowned Hilton quality and hospitality, and has made a significant contribution to Turkish tourism with its accommodation, gastronomy, spa, and event space experience.

Serpil Güney, with over 20 years of international experience in the hospitality industry, has led numerous successful hotel openings, conversions, and renovations at Hilton in countries including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia. Prior to Hilton Istanbul Bomonti, Güney served as general manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton M Square Hotel & Residences in Dubai and the Umana Bali LXR Hotels & Resorts in Indonesia, where she led numerous successful openings and critically acclaimed projects.

Güney, the hotel's first female general manager, said, “I am delighted to join the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti family as general manager.
