Room Prices Increased by 72% in May 

According to TÜİK data, the price increase in the Restaurants and Hotels expenditure group in May compared to the previous year was 92.94%.

In May, the average room prices of hotels increased by 72% compared to the previous year, from 1.876 TL to 3.236 TL. The provinces with the highest increase in May were Nevşehir (111%) and Çanakkale (86%), respectively. Çanakkale was followed by Ankara and Balıkesir, respectively. The increase in İzmir, Muğla and Antalya was below the average.
