The open buffet main restaurant with a garden view and the Olive A'la Carte Restaurant, where the most special flavors of Italian cuisine are served, have been completely renewed and offer their guests a privileged gastronomy experience in a stylish and modern ambiance. Tarçın A'la Carte Restaurant brings Far Eastern flavors to its guests with its renewed menu. 30 Percent Savings by Recycling Gray Water

With the renovation of Akra Sorgun, many sustainability-oriented innovations were made to reduce the carbon footprint. Smart room systems, which contribute greatly to energy saving, motion and presence sensors in rooms, heating system, booster pumps and frequency inverters in main air handling units are among the studies carried out for energy saving. The Gray Water Recovery Project, which has been put into operation as of 2024, ensures that rain and consumable water is purified and used in garden irrigation after laboratory analysis. Domestic wastewater, gray water originating from sinks, showers and bathtubs that do not contain septic tanks, is also included in the project. With the project, it is aimed to save 100 tons of water per day, that is, approximately 30%. Zoysia Japonica grass, which provides significant water saving, is used in the gardens. With xeriscaping, garden fertilizer use is reduced by 98.4%. In the kitchen, vegetable scraps are turned into spices within the scope of zero waste, and root vegetable scraps are used in making sauces. Nearly 95% of kitchen products are supplied from the local market.

Carettas and Sand Lilies Are Under Protection 

In line with its mission to protect nature and all living creatures, which is an important part of its sustainability vision, Akra Hotels carries out studies to protect the Caretta Carettas, which are among the endangered creatures in the world. In this context, various information is provided to guests staying at Akra's facilities in Fethiye and Sorgun. Guests are requested not to carry sun loungers to the nesting areas of the turtles between 1 May and 1 October, which is the breeding season of Caretta Carettas, and to avoid actions that may disturb the creatures such as digging sand, lighting a fire or light on the beach at night. Work is also being carried out within Akra Sorgun to protect the Sand Lilies.
