“We Will Meet All Our Energy Needs from Solar Power Plants in the Near Future”

Expressing their opinions about the 2022 Sustainability Report published by Kervan Gıda Kervan Gıda General Manager İdris Can, he said; “As we stated in the Sustainability Report we published for the first time this year, we have taken important steps to realize our sustainability vision in 2022. One of our biggest strategic decisions; It was the DOPA project that we developed with the understanding of optimum capacity utilization, efficiency and profitability, which will provide convenience and simplicity in all processes within the institution and  We implemented this with a budget of 4 Million Euros. In addition, we continued to be a pioneer in the sector with our investments in renewable energy and sustainable facilities in Akhisar. By taking steps to meet our energy needs from renewable sources with Solar Power Plants (SPP), we both contribute to the energy management of our country and fulfill our responsibility to nature by reducing our environmental footprint. While we currently meet 15% of our energy needs from solar power plants, we aim to increase this rate to 100% in the near future. “We have had a year in which all our employees contributed to this vision, and we look to the future with hope.”

Thus, we increased the flour silo storage capacity of our Konya factory by 34,3 percent to 4.700 tons. We increased the total flour silo storage capacity of our Tekirdağ and Konya factories by 11,4 percent to a total of 11.700 tons,” he said.

He also touched upon the participation of Babaeski Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. located in Kırklareli in Eksun Gıda. Iron, “With this investment, we aim to optimize our storage processes with advanced technology.
