Beta Gıda continues to support its global sustainability efforts, aimed at leaving a more livable world for future generations and preventing potential shortages in consumption resources, through its factories in Turkey. Operating with a green energy mission, Beta Gıda has a total installed power of 1614 kWe/h with 3278 rooftop solar panels at its Adana factory and 732 solar panels at its Trabzon factory, achieving a CO2 emission saving of 1.881.785,62 kg as of August 2023.
Beta Gıda, which aims to leave a cleaner nature to the future by re-greening the forest areas that have been destroyed due to the forest fires in our country in recent years, has been obtaining all the energy it needs for tea production and in-office use from rooftop solar panels since 2021, within the framework of the GES project. Beta Gıda, which has planted more than 35 thousand saplings to date, equivalent to the emission rate that occurs during production in its factories in Adana and Trabzon, continues to strive for a green nature, support studies in this direction and produce new projects in this direction.
