Kervan Gıda General Manager Burhan Basar, “The most important investment we made in renewable energy was to install solar power plants on all our roofs in the Akhisar region. Thanks to these installed solar power plants, we not only contribute to the country's economy and energy management by providing some of our own energy from the sun, but also follow a policy that respects nature by reducing our carbon footprint. We believe that with our current solar power project investment, 100 percent of our total consumption will be met from sustainable energy sources. "When we evaluate our solar power investments according to the recovery calculation, we calculate that our investment will amortize itself in a short period of 4 years," he said.

“We Will Have the Maximum Solar Energy Investment with Manisa”

Stating that they continue their solar power investments to meet their consumption with sustainable energy, Başar said, “In addition to the roof investments, we purchased a 310 thousand square meter land in Gördes district of Manisa and we will place our solar panels here with an investment of approximately 20 million dollars. We expect the power plant we plan to have a power of 20.5 MW. "When this investment is completed, as Kervan Gıda, we will have the maximum solar power installation investment, which we plan to meet all our energy needs and which is the legal limit," he said.

According to the results prepared in accordance with the inflation accounting principles of the Turkish Accounting Standards 29 (TMS), the company's net sales revenue was 10,1 billion TL, its gross profit was 791 million TL, and its gross profit margin was 7,8 percent.

Underlining that Eksun Gıda is taking firm steps towards its growth targets with its strong investment strategy, Ahmet Demir, “In order to reinforce our advantageous position in the sector, we invested in 12 flour silos in our Konya factory. Thus, we increased the flour silo storage capacity of our Konya factory by 34,3 percent to 4.700 tons. We increased the total flour silo storage capacity of our Tekirdağ and Konya factories by 11,4 percent to a total of 11.700 tons,” he said.

He also touched upon the participation of Babaeski Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. located in Kırklareli in Eksun Gıda. Iron, “With this investment, we aim to optimize our storage processes with advanced technology.
