“International Gastronomy and Culinary Stars Meeting 2022” supported by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and sponsored by Kilit Group with its two big brands (GastroAntalya) countdown continues. Organized by the Mediterranean Chefs Club Association (ASKDER), GastroAntalya will host gastronomy professionals from 20 countries for the third time at Cam Piramit between 17-20 November 2022.

Stating that they will host an important meeting in the name of gastronomy, President of ASKDER Bilal Yuregirstated that GastroAntalya is an important event for both the gastronomy world and Antalya. Stating that gastronomy can play the most important role in spreading and diversifying Antalya's tourism over 12 months, Bilal Yüreğir continued his explanations as follows: “Antalya is one of the most important holiday destinations in the world with its sea, sand and sun. However, everyone knows that Antalya should diversify its tourism, which is stuck in the summer months, and spread it over 12 months. At this point, gastronomy can play a very important role. Because we have Turkish Cuisine, which is one of the few cuisines in the world, and our talented people. If we combine the power of Antalya tourism and gastronomy, we can bring our city to a very different point in the world of gastronomy. People can now go on trips for their taste. GastroAntalya alone cannot make Antalya a gastronomic city, but it will be an important driving force in this goal. Our event, which has attracted the attention of the gastronomy world in its third year, will serve Turkey and Antalya much more strongly in the coming years.”

Gastronomy representatives from 20 countries of the world and all over Turkey, companies producing products & services in the gastronomy sector, leading companies and their managers, F&B department managers of the tourism sector, purchasing department managers, professional chefs, hotel general managers, gastronomy and culinary arts academics , world-famous chefs and gourmets, university and high school student chefs, associations, educational institutions, and employees of the sectors that make up the gastronomy ecosystem will participate in workshops, presentations, panels, city stands, service presentations, product tastings, and B2B meetings.

More than 400 chefs and chef candidates will participate in the competition, which is the main concept of the organization. GastroAntalya, which will be the scene of Individual Practice Junior, Individual Practice Masters, Grand Prix National Team and Individual Display Masters competitions, will allow chefs and chef candidates to showcase their skills.
