Fersan, the leader of the vinegar sector, achieved 300% growth as a dealer/region in the out-of-home consumption channel in the HORECA sector. Fersan Chairman and CEO Gürhan Güven made a statement on the subject...
Providing information about their work in the out-of-home consumption channel, Fersan Chairman and CEO Gürhan Güven said, “Since January, we have been working very intensively in the out-of-home consumption channel. In the first quarter of 2022, we increased our number of dealers in the out-of-home consumption channel to six and achieved 300% growth in terms of dealers/regions. Within three months, we expanded our out-of-home consumption area, which consisted of Muğla Region and Antalya Region, by adding dealers serving Marmaris Region, Manavgat-Alanya Region, Ankara Region and İzmir Region.”

Güven stated, “ We are continuing our efforts to develop our existing national chain customers and our potential national out-of-home consumption customer portfolio. On the other hand, we plan to enter new categories domestically. We want to preserve the traditional side of vinegar and pickles so that future generations can continue this beneficial consumption habit. We continued our growth in 2021. Since we operate in a volatile economy, we worked hard to maintain our company presence, react agilely to market fluctuations, and ultimately strengthen our profitability, and we reaped the rewards. Our growth in the EDT channel will continue until the end of 2022. We will further expand our market share, where we are the leader in the vinegar category in the domestic market. In terms of exports, we have targets to reach new points in the European market.”
